Ramadan Through the Eyes of American Muslims

Please join us on June 7 for Ramadan Through the Eyes of American Muslims: An Interfaith Learning Iftar.

United Muslim Relief, Shoulder to Shoulder, Masjid Muhammad, the General Board of Church and Society of the United Methodist Church, and the Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington have teamed up to put together a great program for listening, learning and fellowship. We’ll hear from a panel of American Muslims about their own perspectives on and experiences of Ramadan, we’ll listen to the dynamic Jewish-Muslim musical duo The Pursuit of Harmony, and we’ll have ample opportunity to enjoy good food and conversation among attendees of various faith communities and backgrounds.

This program is specifically designed, as part of the Se7en Fast movement, to bring people of different faith communities together for learning and connection during this particularly holy time for the Muslim community.

This event is FREE to attend, however there is a suggested donation of $20 that will go towards supporting resettled Syrian refugees in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
